Styling & Care
Work with the coil, not against it. Detangle with your fingers or a wide-tooth comb while the hair is damp and slick with conditioner, always starting at the ends and working up. Never dry-comb a coil pattern.
Because this texture is steam-set, keep direct heat low and infrequent. If your stylist is dipping the ends to seal a twist, use hot water rather than a flat iron. Between installs, store the bulk hair loosely braided or coiled in a satin bag so it holds its pattern. A light leave-in or oil on the mid-lengths keeps the coil soft; heavy butters and waxes weigh it down and dull it fast.

Length & Fit
This is the texture where shrinkage matters most, so read this part twice. A true 4B to 4C coil can wear 40% to 50% shorter than its measured length. A 20" bundle in its coiled state will sit closer to 10" to 12" on you. That is not a defect, that is what a real coil does.
The rule of thumb: order two sizes up from your finished length. If you want your twists hitting mid-back, you are looking at 24" to 28", not 18". For loc extensions, most stylists want length past your target so they have room to wrap and blend. And for a full head, plan on four to six bundles depending on your density and how full you want it. Confirm the count with your stylist before you order, since every braider works differently.
