This is the gentlest wave we carry, a loose open S with light bounce and natural body. Softer and more relaxed than Loose Wave, worlds away from Deep Wave, it sits closest to straight while still giving you movement. It is bulk hair, so there is no weft and no track, just loose human hair ready for braiding, loc extensions, or strand-by-strand applications. Sourced from 100% virgin human hair, cuticle-aligned, and matched bundle to bundle so the whole style waves the same.

Styling & Care
Body Wave is the most forgiving texture to live in. Scrunch and air dry for soft defined waves, or blow it out and flat-iron it straight when you want a change. It returns to its wave when wet, so you can switch looks without committing to one. A light mousse or curl cream holds the wave without stiffness. Do not brush it dry unless you want it stretched out, and detangle damp from the ends up.
Because this texture is steam-set, keep direct heat low and infrequent even though it takes styling easily. Repeated high heat wears down any steam-set pattern over time. Keep products light, since heavy oils drag the soft wave straight and flatten the body. Store loosely braided in a satin bag between installs so the pattern holds.

Length & Fit
Body Wave sits so close to straight that shrinkage is minimal, roughly 10% to 15% shorter than its measured length. A 22" bundle wears close to 19" to 20" on you, and it stretches to nearly full length if you flat-iron it straight. This makes it one of the easiest textures in the collection to plan around.
The rule of thumb: order about one size up from your finished length, or true length if you plan to wear it straight often. Mid-back means 22" to 24". For a full head, plan on four to six bundles depending on your density and how full you want it, and confirm the count with your stylist before you order, since every braider works differently.
