Styling & Care

For best results, refresh waves with a water and curl cream mix or a lightweight leave-in conditioner to restore definition between wears. Use a diffuser on low heat to enhance wave depth and volume without disrupting the pattern. Avoid brushing when dry — detangle gently with your fingers or a wide-tooth comb while the hair is damp. Wash with a sulfate-free shampoo and a moisturizing conditioner, then air dry or diffuse to restore wave shape. Store loosely to protect the wave structure between installs.

Length & Fit

Read this before ordering. Deep wave texture carries 25–30% shrinkage from its measured straight length. This crochet is listed at 20", which means it will wear at approximately 14–15" in its natural wave state — sitting at collarbone to mid-chest length on most wearers. This is the nature of a defined wave pattern, not a defect. To wear the hair closer to its full listed length, use a diffuser or light heat styling to stretch the wave. Order with your worn length in mind, not the listed measurement.
